A digital version of a board game about animals trying to figure out who is in charge in the forest. According to the plot, King Armello has gone crazy, so the animals need to overthrow him from the throne and play the crown among the worthy. On release, critics described it as “A Game of Thrones about animals.”
There are balance issues in Armello: some animals are stronger than others. Many gamers agree that it is easier to play for bears than for other animals, but I believe that the maximum randomness of the moves equalizes the chances of the characters.
There are several options for victory – you can be noble, cunning, strong, or become even more insane than the current ruler by collecting more harmful Rot. Despite the many elements, including battles with monsters, pumping equipment, completing quests and moving around the field, a standard four-player party lasts about an hour.
